Some coffees become favorites. And others, no matter how many times they come back, always leave us wanting more. This Experimental Natural Ombligón by Jhonatan Gasca belongs to the second group.
We've had it in our selection several times and the story always repeats itself: it arrives, it wins hearts, and it disappears. We've never managed to keep it available for more than one or two weeks.
Produced at Finca Zarza, in Bruselas, Huila, this microlot showcases the extraordinary work of Jhonatan Gasca, a producer internationally recognized for the quality of his coffees and his mastery of experimental processing. A competition-level coffee: intense, complex and absolutely extraordinary.
Our relationship with Jhonatan keeps growing, giving us access to ever more special microlots and letting us keep exploring together some of the most surprising expressions of Colombian coffee.
This time one of our community's undisputed favorites is back. We hope we got enough for everyone. Although, to be honest, it never seems to be enough.
